RBL or more formally known as Realtime Blackhole List, is a list of IP addresses whose owners have been reported and confirmed to be spamming online, either intentionally or not. To enable/disable RBLs within your Parallels Plesk environment, please follow the step-by-step directions outlined below:

  • Login to your Plesk as the administrator
  • Next, locate the "Server Management" section and on "Tools & Settings"
  • Once under "Tools & Settings" locate the "Mail" section
  • Under the "Mail" section, click on the "Mail Server Settings" link and locate:

Switch on spam protection based on DNS Blackhole lists

  • Once located, please ENABLE it by click the checkbox
  • Then, input the RBL you’d like to use in the following input field:

    DNS Zones for DNSBL service

  • When ready, please click the "OK" button to save the setting!

Should you have any further questions pertaining to your Plesk license, please feel free to get in contact with our web hosting support team for additional assistance.

Never knew Plesk is offering RBLs like cPanel‘s SPAMCop and SpamHaus. Really good control panenel for hosting providers in this case.
