There are quite a few ways to check the Plesk version that you are running, both via the control panel directly and via SSH. In this tutorial, we will provide you with a step-by-step guide on how to check via SSH (often the surest way). Please see below:

  • Login to your Plesk Virtual/Dedicated server via SSH
  • Next, run the following command within SSH:

    # rpm -qi psa

  • The aforementioned code should provide you with:

Name: psa
Relocations: (not relocatable)
Version: 10.4.4
Vendor: Parallels
Release: cos5.build1013111102.18
Build Date: Wed 02 Nov 2011 12:47:12 PM UTC
Install Date: Thu 26 Apr 2012 02:34:51 PM UTC

Packager: Parallels <>

From the information displayed above, you will be able to locate the "Version" row along other PSA related information (if needed).

Very helpful, the Plesk 11 is coming so and supposed to be even better control panel. Always waiting for something extraordinary from Parallels.
