Dependent on the control panel you are running, it may be necessary for you to configure CloudLinux to update automatically. Please follow the step-by-step directions outlined below for further convenience.

Please note if you are running CloudLinux on cPanel, this will not be necessary as cPanel will handle the entire update process of CloudLinux on your behalf.

  • Login to your CloudLinux enabled environment via SSH
  • Next, locate and edit the following file located within:

    # /etc/yum/yum-updatesd.conf

  • Once within the file, please adjust the values to the following:

    do_update = yes
    do_download = yes
    do_download_deps = yes

  • Upon completion, please save the changes to apply them!
  • Finally, run the following command to start the daemon needed:

    # service yum-updatesd start

Should you have any further questions pertaining to your CloudLinux license, please feel free to get in contact with the LicenseCube support team for further assistance.

CloudLinux is using RHEN so all the updates are coming from there I hope.
