The installation process for CloudLinux on a DirectAdmin server is not only easy, but will only take you a couple of minutes to enable your server to be fully protected. Please follow the step-by-step directions outlined below.

  • Login to your DirectAdmin server via SSH
  • Next, please run the following commands within Linux:

    wget http://repo.cloudlinux.com/cloudlinux/sources/cln/centos2cl &&
    sh centos2cl -k <activation_key> &&
    reboot

  • Please adjust the items outlined above in BOLD to their values
  • After the reboot, please run the following command:

    yum install liblve-devel &&
    cd /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild &&
    ./build update &&
    ./build set cloudlinux yes &&
    ./build apache &&
    ./build suphp

Once you complete the aforementioned steps, your DirectAdmin server will be fully protected by the CloudLinux, ensuring your customers can’t abuse their resources.
