The new Plesk versions are keeping the password somewhere else I think as the username is not admin but root.

Plesk has restriction to send the admin login and password via email which is a good security for the server.

New Plesk 11 again have the admin username and password different than root. This was so much easier with root and Linux server root pass.

Root password for the Linux server should be the one for new Plesk versions like 10 and 11.

In new version of Plesk administrator password is the same like Linux OS root pass. Like cPanel style.
