How do I install Softaculous within my Plesk server?

Installing Softaculous on your Plesk server will only take a couple of minutes, and you’ll be ready to start using it. Please follow the step-by-step directions outlined below for your convenience.

Please note this tutorial assumes that you already have IonCube loaders installed on your Plesk server. If not, please ensure that you install IonCube prior to continuing with this installation process.

Installing Softaculous via SSH:

• Login to your Plesk Virtual/Dedicated server via SSH
• Upon login using SSH, please enter in the following command:

  cd /usr/local &&
  wget -N http://www.softaculous.com/pl/install_softaculous.php &&
  chmod 755 install_softaculous.php &&
  /usr/bin/php -d open_basedir=/ -d safe_mode=0 -d disable_functions="" /usr/local/install_softaculous.php

• Once initiated, the installer will provide you with the installation status

Upon completion, you’ll have your Softaculous license fully installed within your Plesk server. Upon login to Plesk, you’ll notice the "Softaculous Auto Installer" on the left hand side menu.
