Installing IonCube within your cPanel/WHM will allow applications, such as Fantastico and Softaculous, to install correctly. This is because these applications require IonCube to run correctly, but by default cPanel doesn’t install IonCube. Please follow the step-by-step directions below:

  • Login to your WHM (Web Host Manager)
  • Locate the section entitled "Server Configuration"
  • From there, click on "PHP" tab at the top
  • Next, find "cPanel PHP loader" and ensure "IonCube" is enabled
  • When ready just click "Save"

After the completion of this process, you will now have IonCube installed within your cPanel control panel. You may now proceed with any previous installations you where doing.

Should you have any further questions pertaining to your cPanel license, please feel free to reach out to the LicenseCube Support team for additional assistance.

All modern software requires IonCube, with cPanel is really to install it along with Apache and PHP.

This can be done a lot of ways but the most easiest is to recompile Apache via Easyapache and include ioncube loaders there.

IonCube needs to run EasyApache. Just recompile PHP and Apache and include Zend and IonCube.
