Moving your WHMCS installation and license isn’t complicated. Nonetheless, we have separated the two parts to ensure that the entire process is completed correctly. Please follow the step-by-step directions outlined below.

WHMCS License Key:

Prior to switching out your WHMCS installation location, you’ll need to request that your WHMCS license is re-issued by the LicenseCube team. To do this, please see the instructions outlined below:

  • Please go to the contact us section of our website
  • Fill in all the relevant information needed
  • Next, indicate that you’d like to move your WHMCS installation
  • Finally, click the "Submit Form" button

WHMCS Migration:

Once you have requested that your WHMCS license should be re-issued, you can now start migrating your WHMCS installation. To do this, you will need to use your FTP client to relocate your WHMCS to the new directory.

Please note after migration you will need to adjust the paths within WHMCS or its configuration files (in MySQL and in text) to ensure that it continues to function correctly post-migration.

Should you have any further questions pertaining to your WHMCS license, please feel free to get in contact with the LicenseCube support team for additional assistance.
