LicenseCube WHMCS module documentation

When it comes to interfacing with your account at LicenseCube, we want to make it as quick and easy as possible. As a result, we’ve created an easy-to-use WHMCS API module that will interface with your existing LicenseCube account; please see below for more details on this.

Activating API access:

Activating your API access isn’t only easy, but only takes a few minutes to accomplish. Please follow the step-by-step directions outlined below:

• Go to the LicenseCube contact us form.
• Next, fill out all the required fields
• Then, please input the following text into the "text area" box:

  Support:

  Please can you provide me with my API username and password, so I may get connected via my WHMCS API module? Additional details are outlined below:
  
  My Account Name: PLEASE PROVIDE
  My Account Number: PLEASE PROVIDE
  My WHMCS IP Address: PLEASE PROVIDE

  Thanks so much, I look forward to your reply!

• Please replace the items outlined in BOLD above
• Once ready, simply click "Submit Form" to submit.

Uploading the WHMCS API Module:

The process for uploading the LicenseCube WHMCS module is easy and only takes a few moments. Please note you will be required to use FTP and know your WHMCS installation directory. Once ready, please see below:

• Login to your web hosting account via FTP
• Next, navigate to your WHMCS installation directory
• Then, navigate to the "/modules/addons/"
• Finally create a new folder called "licensecube" and upload these files:

  licensecube.php
  hooks.php

• Once uploaded, your ready to activate your LicenseCube WHMCS module!

Activating the WHMCS API Module:

The process of activating your LicenseCube WHMCS API module is quick and only takes a few moments. Please follow the step-b-step directions outlined below:

• Login to your WHMCS as the administrator
• Next, go to "Addons" and then click on "LicenseCube"
• From there, click on "General Module Options"
• Next, locate the "LicenseCube" module and ensure its:

  "Active"

• Then, click on "Configure" to input the following:

  User: PLEASE INPUT VALUE
  Password: PLEASE INPUT VALUE
  Notify: YES
  Access Controls: Administrator, Sales Operator, Support Operator

• When ready, simply click "Save Changes" to apply!

The LicenseCube support team should have provided login details to you when you originally had sent them the email.

Adding configurable options within WHMCS:

Adding license configurations directly into your LicenseCube WHMCS module is easy and quick. Simply follow the step-by-step directions outlined below:

• Login to your WHMCS as the administrator
• Next, click on the "Addons" and then click on "LicenseCube" option
• From there, click on the "Generate Configurable Options" link
• Then, choose the product you’d like to add new options for (from the drop-down menu)
• Next, choose the licenses you wish to apply to the product by checking the boxes
• Finally, click on the "Add Configurable Options" submit button

Adjusting configurable option prices:

Adjusting the prices of a license from within your WHMCS module is easy and can be done in only a few steps. Please see the step-by-step directions outlined below:

• Login to your WHMCS as the administrator
• Next, click on the "Setup" tab and then on "Products/Services"
• From the "Products/Services" click on "Configurable Options"
• Next, locate the "Configurable Option" that was added earlier
• Once located, click on the "Pencil" icon to edit this "Configurable Option"
• Next, locate the "Configurable Option" you wish to edit and click the "Pencil"

icon once again and input the prices into the popup window.

• When you have setup all the prices simply click "Save Changes" to apply!

Please note that you will need to repeat this process for ALL licenses you wish to set pricing for, as by default LicenseCube doesn’t load these prices for you.

Deleting Configurable Options (if needed):

As easy as the process was for adding "Configurable Options" the process is just as easy to remove (hide). Please follow the directions outlined below to remove these options from within your WHMCS installation:

• Login to your WHMCS as the administrator
• Next, click on the "Setup" tab and then on "Products/Services"
• From the "Products/Services" click on "Configurable Options"
• Next, locate the "Configurable Option" that you would like to edit
• Once located, click on the "Pencil" icon to edit the "Configurable Option"
• Finally, locate the license option you’d like to remove (hide) and check the "Hidden" box next to it. Once ready, simply click "Save Changes" to apply!
