How do I import installations into Softaculous within cPanel?

While traditionally, the process of importing installations from other auto-installers was near impossible, Softaculous has changed that and made it extremely easy. Thus, migrating from auto installers, such as Installatron and/or Fantastico, can be done with a couple of clicks. Please follow the step-by-step directions outlined below.

Please note should you not be using cPanel, you will be able to perform the import process directly on your server by using the same "Import" feature as within this tutorial.

Importing installations via WHM:

• Login to your Virtual/Dedicated server via WHM
• Next, locate the section entitled "Plugins" and then:

  Softaculous – Instant Installer

• Then, please click on "Import" in the main menu
• Once ready, simply click "Start Import" to initiate the process

Importing Installations via SSH:

• Login to your Virtual/Dedicated server via SSH
• Next, please paste the following command into Linux:

  # /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/php /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/import.cmd.php

• Please allow a few moments for the process to complete
