How would I update my DirectAdmin license?

By default, DirectAdmin doesn’t require being updated manually. However, in some cases where the DirectAdmin key has changed, you’ll need to manually update the key. To do this, please follow the step-by-step directions outlined below:

• Login to your DirectAdmin VPS/Dedicated server via SSH
• Next, type the following command within Linux:

  /etc/init.d/directadmin stop && /usr/local/directadmin/scripts/getLicense.sh 24580 <LICENSE-ID> && /etc/init.d/directadmin start

• Please update the items in BOLD to their correct values

Upon having run the above-mentioned code, your DirectAdmin control panel will start using the new license key rather than the previous one.
